The school has incorporated the development of EPQ research-based learning skills into the school's formal curriculum, and a professional project team has implemented systematic teaching and professional guidance on students' topic selection, research paths and implementation methods, and thesis writing. Under the careful guidance of the school's team of senior professional EPQ instructors, the results have been very fruitful. Many of the school's students have been awarded extra credit by the National Edexcel Examinations Board, and many of them have published papers in Google Scholar and authoritative academic journals around the world. The EPQ opening report for the academic year 2022-2023 started in November and seven students have successfully passed the opening review by the academic EPQ panel. They will focus on their year-long in-depth research and dissertation writing. EPQ mentors will provide professional support to students based on their chosen topics, combining group research and one-on-one mentoring to ensure that each student is able to move forward and successfully complete their EPQ research projects.
The students who participated in this round of the EPQ still chose a wide range of research areas, and their opening reports were in full English, with each student presenting the reasons for their choice of topic around their interests and expertise.
